Alice/Alice in Wonderland?

I'm confused. Tim Burton is directing Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Starting in 2008. I thought he was directing Alice, by American McGee, like the creepy version not the gay disney version. Can someone help me out!!!!!?????!!!
