Help with novel and characters?

Thing that bothers my about very exotic names it I don't know how to pronounce them half the time. So don't go to exotic. I have a book about another world and the main character names are Elsa, Artemis, Jazzlyn, Ivy, Jillian, and Isabella. But the last two are from our world in the book. Any way, how to put you characters personalities in there is up to you. I like to point out their flaws with sarcasm, and the talents with complements from other characters. How to get how they look in there is a little trickier. I like to put that part in there once to get it over with, and then put little reminders in once in a while like 'Jillian mist white gray eyes flashed up' or 'Isabella's dark curtain of hair whirl with her as she turned around' stuff like that.
