If you have personally had Ulnar Nerve Decompression surgery, would you please share?

I'm not looking for internet info on it. I'm asking for personal experiences; did you have the medial epicondylectomy or the ulnar transposition; why did you go with that choice; did you have complications; did they resolve; are you now pain free; what advice would you tell someone about to undergo it?
