Would you nn Mason "Maci"?

Me & my hubby have loved the name Maon since we met when i was 14 (8years ago already!) anyway as everyone know Kourtney Kardashian named her little boy Mason and I like them so i watch their E! show but they always nickname Mason "Maci" (May see) I think this is really girlie and its kind of putting me off Mason. do you think this is an awful nn and would you automatically say "Maci" to a Mason
