What are some fun things to do in Utah that is inexpensive and close by either Roy or Layton?

I have a friend visiting from out of state later on tonight, and I need some fun things that we can do, besides skiing or snowboarding. And it has to be somewhat near either Roy or Layton. Can anyone help?
