How did you grow up, specifically how did your parents raise you?

My parents raised me well. My mother was very loving & sweet. My dad was kind of strict, but he educated me well. I had boundaries & when I crossed them, I would get grounded. My parents never hit me (that I remember.) I was a happy kid :) My parents were awesome. I thank them for that.
